Model 3P5 and 3P5-X are portable pneumatic presses specifically designed for grommet applications. These powerful compact presses are capable of punching a hole in a wide range of industrial fabrics and setting a grommet and washer, all in a single cycle. The 3P5 is available for grommets up to No. 4, plain and No. 3, rolled rim. The 3P5-X was designed specifically for applications that require rolled rim grommets larger then a No. 4. All of the setting tools in the 3P5 line are interchangeable, and are simply threaded in-place to facilitate fast conversions between grommet sizes. This machine is built on a sturdy welded frame and designed for safe operation, portability and ease of use.
Model 3P5 weighs only 22 pounds, and is 17” tall,
4” wide and 11” deep. The 3P5-X was designed specifically for heavy-duty applications that require rolled rim grommets larger then a No. 4. The 3P5-X comes with an adapter to set smaller sized grommets. This machine weighs 45 pounds, is 17 1/2" tall, 4 1/2" wide and 14" deep.The 3P5 is designed to be portable or bench mounted. Several alternative configurations allow the 3P5 to be used in the most productive manner:
- Pedestal Stand with optional foot pedal.
- Mobile Base for floor work.
- Tool Rack with Storage Bins.
The 3P5 provides a number of benefits.
It puts an end to the ergonomic challenges of using a hammer or manual press, and also reduces fastener costs for users of self piercing grommets. The 3P5 punches the hole, not the grommet, so the additional cost for self piercing grommets is eliminated.
